Dr Vivek Babu Bojjawar is a senior consultant cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon at Virinchi Hospitals. He has more than 15 years of experience in various aspects of cardiothoracic thoracic and vascular surgery.
Dr Vivek Did his MBBS and MS from Jipmer, Pondicherry and MCh from Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute for Medical Sciences, Trivandrum. He stood first in MS exams in Pondicherry University and secured two gold medals.
Dr Vivek has also undergone additional training in Australia for Advanced fellowship in minimally invasive CT surgery.
Dr Vivek is proficient in various types of Cardiac, Thoracic , and vascular surgeries. He has performed more than 5000 cases.
He has special interest in minimally invasive heart surgery, Total arterial CABG and Aortic surgery. He has done a large number of TAVR and ECMO cases.
He has publications in various journals and has presented several papers in national and international conferences.
He is a member of Indian Association of cardiothoracic surgeons, overseas member of Australia-New Zealand Cardiothoracic surgery association ,member of international Society of minimal invasive Cardiothoracic surgery.
