Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), also known as Esophagoscopy, gastroscopy or upper GI endoscopy is an endoscopy procedure performed by our experienced endoscopy specialists to either observe or treat abnormalities inflicted from esophagus till duodenum.
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy may be performed for either diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. It is minimally invasive in some rare instances requiring anaesthesia to avoid discomfort to the patient during the procedure.
