What You Need To Know
- Health insurance card holders: Be sure to find out what services, tests and procedures your insurance provider will cover before your appointment or admission and after your discharge from the hospital. Many insurance carriers have coverage limits on room charges and certain tests, OP services and procedures. If you aren’t sure which services are covered, contact your insurance service provider before you plan your travel.
- You can get a pre-authorization based on the estimate provided to you by Virinchi Hospitals for a hassle free treatment.
- You can also pay the amount in the hospital yourself and apply for a re-imbursement later.
- Visa process: International patients will need to obtain a visa (depending upon their home country) to enter India for medical treatment. International Patient Services Centre would assist you with the visas process, tickets and other travel arrangements and for any other information or assistance you may require, when you decide to seek treatment at Virinchi Hospitals.

What Documents Should You Carry?
- Fitness to fly’ certificate (if medically warranted)
- Copy/originals of all medical reports and medication details (if any) or any statements relating to the past or ongoing medical treatment
- Copies of Vaccination Certificates (Yellow Fever, Polio, etc.), X-Rays, MRI reports, immunization records, prescriptions, and relevant medical documents including records of previous surgeries
- Please carry sufficient currency, traveler’s cheques or credit/debit cards
- Any referral notes from your doctor
Treatment and Discharge
- A Guest Relations Executive will welcome you at the hospital and escort you for the registration formalities
- After registration and passport verification, an appointment will be raised for the necessary specialty or doctor
- You can choose from various Health Packages if you are not sure about your visit to a specific Specialty / Doctor.
- Once you have been assessed thoroughly, a treatment plan will be designed by the doctors. According to the treatment plan, you will be counseled about the finances which will be required to be paid prior to the initiation of the course of treatment. The financial estimate given may vary depending on the complication or length of stay at the hospital.
- Once you have recovered, a detailed bill will be provided to you and you will be discharged from the hospital. A vehicle will be arranged to drop you to the place of stay.
- Once you recover completely and review and follow up with the doctor , you will be provided with a Fit to Fly certificate. A vehicle will be arranged to drop you at the airport along with a Guest Relation Executive.
